Take a Ride on the California Zephyr

It's been about a year and a half since we rode Amtrak's California Zephyr from Chicago to Emeryville, Calif., and the story of that journey in the context of the political climate of the time -- as the Bush administration was attempting to shut Amtrak down -- is fully told in "Amtrak's California Zephyr: The Way West." We can now sit back and enjoy the scenery, and you can too. We've condensed three days into 10 minutes and you can watch it right here on Google Video.
